Our “Queen of the Tetons”, the 28-year-old sow who raised 18 cubs,
was killed October 22 in the Snake River Canyon. The loss of this amazing mama bear and symbol of our valley has reverberated through our community. A candlelight vigil was held on November 2nd on the Town Square in her memory, and the News & Guide will be publishing a special newspaper section detailing her legacy on December 11th.
